Glass - My Custom Built Blog

I've always been in love with the idea of documentation. For a developer, there is no greater joy than finding someone took the painstaking time to write out instructions on how to get started with a project, lessons learned, things to avoid, etc. I believe the same is true of books. There is a vast amount of knowledge one can gain from reading and ultimately, on the flip-side, from writing. I've learned the most about myself and my projects as I've either written in my journal or documented a project. With that being said, I'm very excited to be launching my very own custom built blog!

The project started as a simple desire to try building a blog, it quickly turned into something much bigger. I began to realize how complicated such a simple concept really is under the hood. You have to think about how to handle dozens, hundreds, maybe thousands of posts with various authors, SEO implications, front-end design, etc. That's where Glass was born. If you'd like to learn a bit more about the project, head over to my Github.

I'm going to take the opportunity on this blog to "document" my life, my projects, and my findings in the tech world. I've had years of experience in business leadership, development, and IT and feel it would be a disservice to not share the things floating around in my head. So, here is to my first ever blog post with many more to come. See you then!

I love all things tech. I've been programming since the age of 12, repairing iPhones since 16, and founding tech companies since 20. I'm an open source fanatic, Apple fanboy, and love to explore new tech. I spend my time coding open source projects, tinkering with electronics and new tech products, and consulting teams on how to get things done.
